These incense can be of the herbal or wooden variety. When wooden consider a smoked product and when herbal consider a dry rub or any herbal seasonings. Word does not occur in Deuteronomy.
Oil • שֶׁמֶןShemen
First appears as a sacrificial libation by Jacob when he sets the stone on which he rested his head as a pillar. He anoints the pillar with oil. In Exodus, first identified as fuel.
Skins of Dolphins or Badgers • הַתְּחָשִׁיםHat'chashim
Root first appears as a name for Abraham's brother's concubine Reumah (follow that?). Also may refer to a now extinct sheep.
